It's rare to see an installment of the "Wario Land" series on a "Top #" list, and that's a @#!*% shame. Why? Because Wario Land 3 is one of the best portable games ever made. Rather than the typical platformer with a life bar, time limit, and a linear path, Wario Land 3 went the eccentric route by removing ALL of that (...well, at least until the final boss), and looking more at puzzle-solving. Finding keys and unlocking chests would unlock items that would open a new part of the map. After repeating this process, you eventually gain new moves so you can go back to the older levels, use the new moves, and get MORE keys to open MORE chests! With THAT much to do in a single cartridge, Wario Land 3 truly stands as a forgotten gem.
