Out of fucking nowhere my tinnitus rose in frequency by a fuckton. Quieter, too.

Btw, I hate q-tips and other related ear cleaners. I'm just trying to clear this wax out of my ear, but then I screw up and my ears start ringing for a few days. Sigh...

Editing … q-tips are not meant to be ear cleaners. The ear syringe thingy works pretty well.

Editing … I also use an earpick from Daiso, but it doesn't work well unless I put Debrox into the ear canal. I've been trying my best to find an alternative, but the safest procedure is just Debrox and a syringe, I guess. But knowing me, I'm just overthinking this. Just use my fingers...

You know how sometimes your ears will ring temporarily?
I still get those alongside the 24/7 ringing. The temporary ones are just louder, and at a different pitch. Honestly not sure if it's louder or higher, it's just more noticeable.

The tinnitus in my right ear was rapidly wavering in pitch for a bit. That was weird.
Now it's back to its usual flatline.
The left ear experienced no change in tone.

Editing … Tinnitus is probably one case where you don't really have to worry about a false diagnosis--if you hear a constant, everlasting ring/buzz/whatever it seems to vary on a case-by-case basis, then you've got it.

Editing … I had my hearing tested, actually scored perfectly. No one really knows what causes tinnitus, it might be 100% mental, and not related to sound at all. Might be related to air pressure.

Also, is that ringing in your ears a permanent condition or are we talking about short burts of this annoying rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr diiiiiiiiiiii sound which everybody gets from time to time? Hopefully you didn't plan on wearing in-ear-headphones, I've heard that those actually make Tinnitus worse!
