    Saved!
"This is noise" the album informs us as the very first notes start playing, and it is. A very pleasant noise.
2006's The Sufferer & the Witness is Rise Against's 4th album and easily the most complete album up to this point. The first two were a bit too raw, the third a bit too melodic. It was with this one that Rise Against finally hit that perfect middle ground. With great punk sounds like Under the Knife and Injection, full of emotion and power, as well as the famous #Prayer of the Refugee, and at the same time good ballads like The Approaching Curve and the beautiful bonus track But Tonight We Dance, The Sufferer & the Witness can be listened time and time again and not feel repetitive or dull.
It's a perfect album to scream to.
