The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, known in Japan as Zelda no Densetsu: Kamigami no Triforce 2 (ゼルダの伝説 神々のトライフォース2, Zeruda no Densetsu Kamigami no Toraifōsu Tsū?, lit. "The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods 2"), is an upcoming game in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series for Nintendo 3DS. The game takes place in the same world as the 1991 Super Nintendo Entertainment System title, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, taking place six generations following that game's events. The game will be released on November 22, 2013 in North America and Europe, and on December 26, 2013 in Japan. It is the second retail game in the series released on the 3DS, after The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.     I bought this during the Steam summer sale
    idk why I wanna grow my 3DS backlog even more but at least I own another Zelda
    do I own A Link to the Past?
    oohhh, I don't. Gotta buy that. That's one of the bestests.
    Also gotta buy Spirit Tracks, never got to try that one.

    Wind Waker 3D please? I've heard that no one wants to play Wind Waker without a second screen now, and I don't have a Wii U :(
    Maybe I'll buy a Wii U and ignore my 20-game rule, but mod the console so I get the games for free. Wii Us are almost as expensive as the Switch though, so it'd be tempting to just go for that instead. Though the Wii U can be modded to have some great back compat.

      Editing … plus I'd be able to mod Breath of the Wild. I don't wanna get an inferior experience for games that aren't perfectly emulated, though. But then again, they'd probably run at a higher framerate. Some of them might even have fully modded keyboard and mouse support--I wonder if some have custom UI icons for kb/m.

      Editing … Wii U and 3DS emulation is working quite well already. My friend Dario and I played and streamed Mario Kart 7 and it was basically flawless. Smash for Wii U runs well but does have some graphical glitches here and there.

    Wtf ia this shit

    There's a big red "X" on the map, so I go there.
    There's some dude that tells me that I need to get to the other end of the map to obtain a swim suit or whatever.
    Having arrived there some monster tells you that she only gives you that item if you get her some gem.
    How do you get that gem? She won't tell you.
    So you literally have to wander around aimlessly on the entire world map until you find that fucking stone and give it to her so that you can continue on your quest.

    Fucking atrocious game design.

    It is a sequel to a classic game I’ve never played. But, it feels familiar. Unlike most modern Zelda games, this takes the birds-eye perspective of the original. It’s a great little game, with the painting power up, although seeming gimmick-y at first, becoming indispensable and a soundtrack to die for. Seriously. Can I just have the Legend of Zelda music as my theme tune. Please?

    The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is a love letter of sorts to all of the franchise fans who have been around long enough to appreciate what A Link To The Past had to offer. Feeling both familiar and fresh at the same time, A Link Between Worlds manages to delight throughout the entire experience and deliver a distinct sense of nostalgia that's complimented by creative discovery and the ability to pursue your own path for the first time in the series. From it's charming presentation to its unique implementation of the painting gameplay mechanic, this game isn't just one of the best entries in the storied Zelda franchise, it's one of the best games the genre has ever seen.

    I purchased the limited-edition Zelda 3DS just for this game and upon completion feel that it was worth every cent. There isn't anything I can think of that detracted from the experience the game was intending to offer, which is why I've given it a score of 10 and CLASSIC status. The only bad thing about A Link Between Worlds is that it eventually ends...Here's to hoping for more great Zelda games in the future!
