I think I would have enjoyed this simulation game more if most of the audition competitions weren't based around luck. Every system has a cheap rock/paper/scissors success rate, so...it isn't a fun game. But some psycho experts have said that it's perfectly okay to delete idols to restart. So Idolmaster is like Dark Souls, but with high school idols. Which is stupid. However, I've played it to this point...stupid addicting game.

I couldn't really say that The Idolmaster is the greatest idol simulator game. Each section consists of a series of dull minigames to raise the idol's stats. However, the characters have sickeningly adorable personalities that make the player fall in love with them. I can't remember any other game that required me to wipe away a girl's tears to raise her spirits, but it makes sense in the context of this game. Idolmaster is strangely addicting, but players need to commit a lot of time just to succeed.
