So Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Hollywood. I had way too much fun with the freaking $40 Power-Up Band. Turns out that there's a secret Bowser Jr. boss fight that is only available by collecting keys from playing minigames. I would call this overpriced DLC in real life, but the animatronics look freaking awesome...

One of the greatest consoles ever. So many great games that were better than most of what it's rival the mega drive could do.

Which consoles did you grow up with?

One of my sisters got a SNES for Christmas - that was in 1994 I think, so I was about 3 years old when I started gaming.

The first game I ever played in my life? #Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! (as far as I remember)

Repeatedly beating #Goof Troop with her in as little as 1:30 hours is still amongst one of my most cherished childhood memories.

We had no fucking clue what you're supposed to do in Link to the Past, though.

##Super Mario Kart was THE shit back then, amazing racing game, co-op was super fun.
This, #GP-1 and #F-Zero started my lifelong fascination with racing games.

Some of my other favorites I enjoyed as a kid: Pilotwings, Killer Instinct, the Lion King, Mario is Missing, Crash Test Dummies and Po-pu-motherfucking-lous and #Road Runner's Death Valley Rally.

My three all time fav SNES games were and always will be #SimCity (SNES), #Theme Park and #Secret of Mana, which I played for countless hours as a kid (and still do occasionally, over 20 years later).

    Good times.

    :)

Editing … My uncle left me his PS1 with #Tekken 3 and #Time Crisis (and a light gun) when he went away to work in Mozambique for a while. I think I must have been 5 or 6. #Gran Turismo, #Spyro the Dragon, #Croc, #Rayman and #Tony Hawk's Pro Skater were my other childhood games. Good times indeed. It's strange we're about the same age but started out on different gaming generations.

Editing … The first console I ever owned was the N64 circa 1997 or 1998, then in 2001 my uncle bought me a phat PS2 for my communion and seven years later I joined the MS camp with the Xbox 360 in December 2008 :-)

Editing … Almost everyone I know went from PS2 to 360, PS3 was just too expensive at first and Halo and Gears plus third party games gave 360 an awesome first few years. I'm back with Playstation again now though, I got a PS3 when they stopped being insanely expensive and I'll probably get a PS4 when I switch to next gen.

I'll probably get a XB1 next year. Oh and sometime in the late Nintenties my parents bought me a used #Sega Gamegear. My sister owned a Mega Drive/Genesis and the only time I played the PS1 was when I was at a friend's house (Tomb Raider > Mario 64)

Editing … NES. I think my brother got it Christmas '87? Maybe it was for a birthday or something, I can't remember. I was still really young then. The games he got with it were Super Mario Bros. and The Goonies II. We rented much more games than we owned but we had the must-haves that Nintendo Power hyped up, like TMNT, Zelda, Castlevania, Batman, whatever. We also had G.I. Joe which I loved and other random stuff. My brother's friend had a Commodore 64 and I really loved the games on it. I wanted a computer but my parents weren't into it, our household didn't have one until the mid 90s.

Editing … I grew up with the #Mega Drive. It was an amazing system, with some of the most memorable games i've ever played. Whether it beat the SNES or not is another thing, but the Mega Drive was indeed a beast with some really great games. The first game i've ever played was #Last Battle, it is still to this day one of my all time favorites just because of my personal experiences with it of trying to beat it but never couldn't. And now I can beat it with my arms tied behind my back :P

Editing … I grew up with SNES, PS1 and GameBoy. The next console I bought was the GameCube (so I skipped the entire N64 generation and I couldn't care less about that. Besides Mario Kart 64 there are no N64 games that I find interesting and I think the N64 controller is awful). The GameBoy Advance SP was the next GameBoy I bought. Most of my SNES/PS1/GB lists consist of childhood games.
