Literally everyone who has been playing the game have been only talking about the multiplayer and not the single player, because the single player just isn't worth the entire game on its own. To complain that a game requires Internet, even though the entire point of it is to be an online multiplayer shooter (which requires Internet by nature, btw), says more about you than it does anything else. Either you were horribly misinformed, or you chose to ignore everything the Internet was saying about the game.
