Editing … No, bring back Ape Escape, MediEvil, Jak & Daxter, Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy, Okage Shadow King, Mister Mosquito, Lifeline, Jumping Flash, and Blasto. Haven't really played those last 5, but I think it'd be cool if they brought them back.

Editing … I like that some things die off. Jak and Daxter finished its trilogy. No need to milk it. Rogue Galaxy really seemed like it was only meant to be one game, but maybe they could do the Final Fantasy thing and have a new story and characters, but I don't think that the game sold as well as they'd hoped. Dark Cloud 3 would be badass. I remember kinda liking MediEvil, but I never beat it. I never played Ape Escape but I probably should since I've heard such good things. From what I've seen of Jumping Flash, it seems like the definition of a product of this time, like the reason I would play it would be to say "Wow this came out BEFORE Super Mario 64!" Blasto kinda sucked and it's the only one of those last five that I've played, though Lifeline's the only one that doesn't ring a bell at all.

Editing … it's perhaps a good thing for them to die off, because there's always that one shit game in a franchise that would linger around forever so long as the franchise keeps getting revived. Jak II is a good example. There's no solution to games like these except to let the entire franchise die. The only other hopeful scenario which is to remake/remaster every single problem game so that it's less bad. But doing this has the catch 22 of bringing more attention to the original version. But normally remasters are just as bad as the original if not worse, like FFX HD which kept the random encounters, or games like FF6 for iOS which looks terrible compared to the original. So in reality old games don't get fixed, even if hypoethetically they could.

Editing … Though I wondered why there was no Jumping Flash for PS3. I thought it would've been a good Sony mascot. I had a good redesign in mind for Robbit. You'd control him in third person and he'd be about half as tall as a person. He'd be curious and outgoing and look like something out of Pixar.

Editing … *glances at Final Fantasy VI ios* Oh wow. They made the sprites look more in the style of Final Fantasy V, which makes me like the visuals a bit more, but even I can see why that was a TERRIBLE idea. I'm probably one in a million who likes the graphics in Final Fantasy V more than VI.

Editing … FFV also got remade in the same fashion. Funny thing is I look at it now and it doesn't seem THAT terrible. I guess the sense of terribleness partly came from seeing it for the first time. But maybe it only looks decent now because I expected it to be more terrible because of my initial reaction. SCIENCE!

It's summer, so everyone just goes home after working for like three hours every day. I hear Sony Santa Monica got a new pinball machine for their office, so that's nice." - Andrew House, ceo of scee

„We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect. We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.” - Sony burning bridges

History has taught us that fucking with Electronic Arts / third party publishers is NOT a good business decision.
