I just watched a graphics comparison vid. Can you imagine that even the PS4 version is locked to 30 fps? PS5 was the only version with 60 as an option. Just wow. Why the hell did I even get an Xbox One? I'm kind of a dumbass.

It would be hilarious if my One's disc drive doesn't even work seeing as the original Forza Horizon doesn't seem to be available as a digital download anymore. I'd throw the console on the fucking street.

Editing … You got an Xbox One cuz it can play HEVC video and 8-channel audio and the PS4 and PS5 can't

Editing … I thought about finding a dvd or bluray just to see if the disc drive works. Does the hevc part come into play for that? if not then I can't imagine what good it would do for me. Does 8 channel improve audio while gaming? If not then screw that too.

Editing … I forgot that XBO is still an XBO. I can always just use it to play 8th gen games as was originally intended, such as RDR2, Horizon 2-5, Injustice 2, etc.

Editing … Yeah, and I'm sure you use your XBO for that purpose. Are you even aware how horrible of an idea that sounds? We're able to literally stream movies online meanwhile you're telling me I can insert a USB stick (that needs to be manually filled with movies first, a process which could easily take hours) all so I can use my game console to watch a movie. How exciting. That is barely any better than inserting a bluray or DVD, and at least with those I don't need to do any hacking.

Editing … This is a native feature requiring no hacking, and an infinitely smaller cost (and infinitely larger library) than streaming, bluray or DVD. Filling the USB with movies literally takes entire minutes.

Editing … bah. I immediately assumed it required hacking. Okay, I give. In fact I can almost see myself doing this if I actually cared about movies or was realistically going to watch them. But even then it seems easier to just stream the movies or download them directly on the console. The USB is going through extra steps just to save money. And for the record, it can easily take 40 minutes just to fill up my PSP, the transfer speed is only so-so, and I have to decide on the games I'm going to play up front, imagine how long it would take for movies which there are thousands of, and have much bigger filesizes.

« "Sonic hedgehog is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SHH ("sonic hedgehog") gene. Both the gene and the protein may also be found notated alternatively as "Shh".

Sonic hedgehog is one of three proteins in the mammalian signaling pathway family called hedgehog, the others being desert hedgehog (DHH) and Indian hedgehog (IHH). SHH is the best studied ligand of the hedgehog signaling pathway. It plays a key role in regulating vertebrate organogenesis, such as in the growth of digits on limbs and organization of the brain. Sonic hedgehog is the best established example of a morphogen as defined by Lewis Wolpert's French flag model—a molecule that diffuses to form a concentration gradient and has different effects on the cells of the developing embryo depending on its concentration. SHH remains important in the adult. It controls cell division of adult stem cells and has been implicated in the development of some cancers. »

Sonic's just your regular, blue teenage hedgehog. One who's able to blitz across the screen at ludicrously high speed. Oh, and survive all the centrifugal pressure you'd expect to endure when spinning about on your rear as you perform loop-de-loops in bizarrely well-designed circles of earth littered around the golden-ring covered landscape. Just a blue anthropomorphised hedgehog. With a mutant flying fox and a floating, climbing Echidna for friends.

Sonic's charm is in his swagger, his speed, and that shocked little face he pulls when he loses all his rings on a spike. Gaming's answer to The Flash, his sheer speediness and unhinged desire for thrill-taking is what makes him so playable, a fluid, fun-loving mentalist who can roll into a perfectly spherical ball at an extreme pace. His dialogue may not win any awards, but he's a super fast blue spiny hedgehog, what more do you want? Wait, don't answer that - just click on...
