Saved!Gries HeEditing … Who gives a shit about Star TREK.
-
Saved!Dr EggnogEditing … Next Generation was hype doe. Nodley could tell ya. Playing a Star Trek game sounds super boring though.
-
Saved!Bob GutSmashaEditing … if the game is good then just giving it a Star Trek theme shouldn't ruin it, Distant Worlds is a real time 4X game, been meaning to get it for ages
-
Saved!Dr EggnogEditing … You're mind. I meant an actual Star Trek game. Sometimes I forget to add a couple of sentences to make what I type make sense. I do it when I talk too.
-
Saved!Bob GutSmashaEditing … I just noticed Gries wanted the other star show; with your writing and my reading comprehension combined we could really carry him through the day
-
Saved!Dr EggnogEditing … Also, I meant to type 'You're right' instead of 'You're mind'. Where da fudge did that even come from?

Saved! This is how I spent my last weekend:
1st match (9 hours) :
custom map, 1600* (!!!) planets, 1 galaxy, I played as an Advent (female, religious fanatics) against the Vasari (brutish beasts), easy difficulty. I don't think if ever even seen my opponent once, the map was THAT big. After 9 hours my CPU melted and the game crashed to desktop every 5 minutes, so I moved on to a slightly smaller map.
* the biggest default map in this game features less than 200 planets
2nd match (12 hours) :
custom map, 1500 planets, 1 galaxy, two teams: Vasari (me) and Advent (NPC teammate) vs Advent and TEC (humans), easy dificutly. I can't remember much about this, after 22 hours of continuous play life became a blur....
3rd match (22 hours, ongoing) :
MY GOD. This is where things got interesting!
custom map, 600 planets, 2 galaxies, 4 versus 4,
TEC (me) vs Vasari (economist) vs Advent (Aggressor) vs Advent (Economist), normal difficulty; I literally crushed my enemies, saw them driven before me and heard the lamentation of their women.
#Sins of a Solar Empire truly deserves its slogan"Real Time Strategy. Unrivaled Scale."-
Saved!Gries HeEditing … Alright, I just took a week off from work to sink even more time into this game. GOAT

Saved!"Sins of a Solar Empire" could easily be one of my favorite RTS games of all time if only I could figure out how to actually play this game. All I do is click around for a few minutes and then quit to desktop. There is a tutorial, but it's all text based: ain't nobody got time fo' dat!
