Wow, the music is fantastic. It opens with a great heavy-metal cutscene (did not expect that) and is followed by a great orchestral score. I've had this sitting on my hard-drive dormant, all this time never knowing...

If you like JRPGs with interesting battle systems you need try this one.

One of the best RPGs of its generation, certainly one of the few notable JRPGs on consoles these days. Tri-Ace finally returns to form with a game that has one of the most unique battle systems I've ever played, blending turn-based, real-time, and even a little strategy elements. Like other Tri-Ace games the mechanics can be a little obtuse, but figuring out how to combine all of the elements is the biggest draw of the game, and very satisfying to master. The story is annoying esoteric in a bad anime sort of way at times, but the characters and their interactions is surprisingly well done with some great voice acting.
