Resident Evil 4, known as Biohazard 4 (バイオハザード4, Baiohazādo Fō?) in Japan, is a survival horror video game developed by Capcom Production Studio 4 and released by multiple publishers, including Capcom, Ubisoft, Nintendo Australia, Red Ant Enterprises and THQ Asia Pacific. The sixth main entry in the Resident Evil horror series, the game was originally released for the GameCube in January 2005 in North America and Japan, and in March 2005 in Europe and Australia. The story of Resident Evil 4 follows the U.S. government special agent Leon S. Kennedy, who is sent on a mission to rescue Ashley Graham, the U.S. President's daughter who has been kidnapped by a sinister cult. Traveling to a remote rural area of Europe, Leon fights hordes of violent villagers and mutated monsters, and reunites with the mysterious spy Ada Wong.     I'm absolutely certain that the remake could never live up to the memories of the original Resident Evil 4. This game was too much dumb fun. And I'll still buy the remake, because it still has stupid Napoleon...

    When I play RE4, I kinda wish the game gave you the option to play the first two chapters on Pro and the rest on Normal, since the game gets harder as it goes along, or even just the last chapter on Normal, cause jeez chapter 5 on Pro is a huge level beyond 1-4 on Pro, especially since they don't sell you the tactical vest.

    I kinda wish the game didn't sell you rocket launchers and you only get the one that you find, and then everyone could their compare which place they use the one rocket launcher in. I never buy the rocket launcher and always use the one you get against the double garradors cause fuck two in one room.

    Resident Evil 4 is a brilliant hybrid of horror and action. The silly story and gory violence gives me the feeling that I'm controlling a really good cult horror movie. Also, fuck regenerators.

      Editing … I found the Lying Figures and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 and the Giant Lizard from Silent Hill 1 pretty damn scary myself, though I was a kid then. The Regeneartors are pretty damn freaky though, not just because of the breathing sound, but because at first you can't really fight them.
