This is without a doubt, one of the most overlooked games ever, at least in my opinion. I could keep playing it without stopping. I played it so much, I wore out the disc, and I can't play it anymore. But I put 5 playthroughs in this game at least. I spent a whole DAY straight playing this. This is the best game of all time to me personally. The awesome and eccentric characters, the battles were straight up entertaining because its not all about winning, you have to snag those shadow pokemon away while they're hammering your at your team. The setting is the most unique in any game. Wrecked cruise boat debris, a oasis city in the desert, a city teaming with rogues, a broken down hideout. I doubt anyone would agree with me, but this has my #1 spot, because of the replayability, and the overall enjoyment I've had with the game.

After Colosseum, console Poké-titles were headed in a new direction. No longer a 3D version of 1/2 of the core title's gameplay, the games had stories and regions of their own, and XD maximized the quality of these interesting and promising concepts. Rather than giving the hardcore fans a fair challenge and completely alienate newcomers, XD established a fantastic balance of choice between difficulty. With Eevee as a starter, you could go with any of its evolutions and have a different experience. Plus, the "snatching" formula first brought to the table in Colosseum was perfected in XD, and even introduced a method of catching wild Pokémon. With all of the above (plus a great OST), XD stands as the best Pokémon console experience.
