Although I prefer the competitive multi-player of the first game, there feels like a lot more to do in the sequel since it includes single player content. The first game felt more strategic, whereas this game feels a lot more chaotic (primarily because of what the new characters bring to the table), but it's chaotic in an enjoyable easy-to-understand way. This might sound strange, but this game does feel more casual (and easier to get into) than the first game, however, it is reasonably fun nonetheless.

Any way you cut it, I'd still vastly suggest either PvZ:GW game over Star Wars: Battlefront (2015) for a competitive online experience. These games surprisingly require more skill to succeed at, and are immensely more fun.

Really, I needed to add this? This is one of the few shooters I don't get bored of in 10 seconds. They did a good job keeping what made the original fun (just the really zany fun factor) while freshening up the original with some great new characters. I like the idea of the Rose, but it's super OP so I'm waiting for them to fix that (they said one is incoming) before I play it more. I'll do a review at that point.

Editing … I really liked the original PvsZ mobile game, taking it 3d and making it a shooter lost my interest though.
