Ostrich Island is a good platform game with minor issues. You control an ostrich through 14 levels and search for food, eggs and various other stuff while avoiding enemies to collect bonus points. Bonus skills can be unlocked if you collect a certain amount of eggs, e.g. skills that make you run faster. The levels are mostly island-themed with the occasional underground-theme thrown in but I expected a little more content and variety. Though at a price as low as 4.99 (or even lower) the amount of content is perfectly acceptable. The graphics are nice and crisp and the soundtrack serves its purpose. The controls are alright if you use a PS3 controller. The platforming itself might be a little clunky at first but you'll quickly get used to it. By the way: this game also has asynchronous online-coop. That's absolutely amazing and it works really well. That's something Nintendo should have implemented in their 3D Mario games a long time ago...
