Great strategy game, played the heck out of it during college.

Orcs Must Die 2 is a hybrid of equal part Tower Defence and Third Person Shooter. The aesthetics are bright and beautiful, using a colourful cartoony look to display the many enemies which come in all shapes, sizes and colours. The three characters that the game's narrative is based around are two-dimensional, but nevertheless pretty fun, populating a story which is rather basic but has a certain amount of charm. There's quite a bit of content, but it's all very similar, with the levels all focusing on the same sort of gameplay, just getting progressively harder. The difficulty curve feels exponential, the first half of the game seeming really easy but the last three levels super hard. Still, Orcs Must Die 2 is enjoyable and polished.
