Considering hacking my New 3DS XL. If I do I'd have hacked three different handhelds (PSP, Vita, 3DS) and that would be impressive! All that would be left after that is the Switch Lite, lol.

Just one problem though, I don't know where to get 3DS games? And if I don't know that then it kind of defeats the point..

Editing … You hacked your Switch right? I was trying to find out if there are any tweaks available that fixes the Switch's problems. I lucked out with the Vita- there are plugins for lowering the brightness (PSP also has one for this) and for removing the lock screen, which are exactly what I wanted. I hear there's even a color saturation mod for the slim model. (Although this was Sony's doing, the mod merely unhides it) I'm not confident about the Switch though because my demands seem to be specific to me. (Oh, come to think of it, I should start with more common wants like button remapping for games. If there is no plugin for that, it's safe to say there won't be one for the other things I want.) But another concern is my save file. My Pokemon save is locked to the system so I wouldn't want to do anything to the system that might compromise my ability to export it later.

Finished Parascientific Escape 2. Except my detective made all the wrong choices and my hot client killed herself. Well...thanks.

I mean, sure, I did say that I would marry my kid assistant. But that was a joke, man. Sheesh. Now I have to live with that guilt. And play it over again to get the good ending.

What the hell is this 3DS series that's on sale? Parascientific Escape: Cruise in the Distant Seas...? Received an 8/10 from Nintendo Life?
    https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/3ds-eshop/parascientific_escape_cruise_in_the_distant_seas

So I played Parascientific Escape 1. It's indie as hell and the anime graphics aren't really that impressive. However, the scriptwriters came up with a tense scenario where psychic girls are trapped on a sinking cruise ship...Wait, this is just a ripoff of Zero Escape. Anyways, it feels cool to play as a geeky, telekinetic psychic who can solve sliding block puzzles hidden inside safes or something.

Pretty impressive for a $2.50 adventure. Yeah, it's only three hours, but I still enjoyed the hell out of that playthrough.

Editing … Half of the scenario was ripped off of Zero Escape, but I still enjoyed what I played. I mean, the production values were cheap as hell. And I could tell that this was some scrappy indie project. However, I couldn't help laughing at one of the character designs. I mean, there's a dumb rabbit mascot person. She represents some mega-corporation secretly involved in...arms dealing or something.

...I still haven't sold my system, btw. Ever since I moved to the Switch, I've really missed my 3DS. 2DS. Whatever. It's got a freaking clamshell design, so that automatically makes it the best portable system ever made.

Sigh...I really want to sell this system. The touch screen is freakin' shoddy. However, it has a bunch of classic NES games, Etrian Odyssey 1 and Devil Survivor Overclocked.

Meh. This would all be easier if Nintendo kept Virtual Console on the Switch.

Since then I've bought Majora's Mask 3D, Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Fire Emblem Awakening and none of them have hooked me the way the best DS titles did. I also played Metroid: Samus Returns which I'd probably consider the weakest 2D Metroid since the original, and a sorry attempt to one up AM2R. I also gave Bravely Second a go but it's not for me. System feels like a waste of money in retrospect.
