I'll admit that the character models are kind of stiff and that some of the control options are less than stellar. But that said, the world of Nightopia is absolutely beautiful. The environment, the music, and the glimmering details are wrapped up in a thrilling flight all over the dream worlds. And it...is...breathtaking. Okay, I digress. But the stylization is impressive and it gives off some good vibes, you know? It's got more use of a very unique formula that we really should have more of. If you've never heard of NiGHTS, you should look into it. It's a fond memory for many, and with good reason.

Such a disappointing game full of wasted potential. I loved the original NiGHTS and I was SO hyped for the sequel. The flying gameplay seems promising at first but quickly gets boring as the chase sequences provide no real challenge and lack the scoring system that gave NiD it's replayability. Additionally, the game is bogged down by terrible on-foot levels, pointless mini-game levels, and a completely unnecessary and terrible story. And it's all just such a shame since there's some good concepts in this game that had potential for greatness. However, the music was fantastic and some of the bosses were kind of neat.

This game is ABYSMAL. The story was uninteresting, the characters were lame, the controls were clunky, the bosses were boring, the gameplay was far from fun, the writing was something to laugh at due to how bad it is, the soundtrack was mediocre, and the world simply looked bland. Overall, a game you should stay far from, and certainly a waste of time and money.
