I love every part of this, except for the motion controls. Ugh.

Awesome exploration...amazing at the time. These don't hold up too well for me, but I would love a sequel.

I completed all three games! You can read my reviews on the individual games' pages.
    MP1: 68% (Playtime: 16:46, Rating: 8.0)
    MP2: 79% (Playtime: 18:08, Rating: 8.5)
    MP3: 100% (Playtime: 16:16, Rating: 9.0)
I used walkthroughs for every game at all times. The walkthrough for MP3 was very well-written so that's why I got 100% there.
Note: Even though I played these games for 51 hours and 10 minutes, my Wii U statistics actually show a playtime of 102:18. That's probably because I often paused during gameplay and left the game running in the background.

This trilogy includes three games for the price of one (or even less if you got the Wii U version for 9.99) so I actually have to sum all scores to rate this game, which makes it a 25.5 out of 10. That's not possible, so I just give it a 10. A great collection of three highly-enjoyable games! Get it!

I always loved the Metroidvania style of gameplay and the ideas of progress and growth that comes with them. You get that well in the Metroid Prime Trilogy and a great exploration due to deep and mostly believable world design, combat and puzzle solving to go with it. Add to that a very impressive graphics style for the time and a submissively, immersive soundtrack that really fools the player to believing that they exist in this world and you have best game of all time material. Some people didn't enjoy the scan mechanic which was a bit corny and sometimes cumbersome in the heat of battle, but I enjoy spacepunk/cyberpunk settings and I loved the idea that I was like a human computer that could scan things to gather data. I wished more games had the scanning and analyzing of data.

It's too bad this was in limited supply, but it undoubtedly deserved to be. Special metal packaging, a thick comprehensive manual, and a shiny bonus pamphlet with glossy exclusive art and a chronicle of the entire story from Samus' birth to the end of Prime 3. And that's just the outside. On the inside, there's a medley of all three themes, in-game achievements, countless unlockables for said achievements, and of course, the greatest video game trilogy of all time. But these legends are made even better with shorter load times, the advantages of the PAL version in all regions, restructured difficulty, and some texture improvements. It has been, and always will be, a genuine treasure among my shelf of games.

Nothing but the great prime trilogy all combined into in one package; it's the best collection you will ever have on the your Wii, with the defined controls of Prime 3 aded to Prime 1 and 2 makes it a must have for anybody who hasn't tried it out! it includes the multiplayer mode that appeared in Prime 2; you may like it or not like it, but it's still a nice addition to the whole package to enjoy with your friends. If you own a Wii, you should definitely own this games.
