So, what did everyone think of this game? All-time classic? I'm just saying that the opening cutscene made me fall asleep. Snake was saying something about war never changes or something. Oh sorry, that was Fallout...

Editing … I loved it. I don't mind games that put gameplay aside for story, interactive stories are something that can easily be enjoyed too. That fucking ending too, man. Wow.

Editing … Oh, you mean the ending where Snake dies? Oops. SPOILER ALERT. Lol. I'm glad that the Sean Connery guy finally showed his face, though. I can make so many jokes about this game.

Editing … As an love-letter to the series, it was perfect. A bit too verbose, but the gameplay was great fun. I love it!! :D

Editing … It was the most melodramatic, long-winded, convoluted, off-the-wall episode of Days of Our Lives I've ever seen.

The Metal Gear saga is full of nostalgia and epic moments, but can any of them top Snake’s Return to Shadow Moses?

A must-play for any living PS3 owner. MGS4 wiped me clean off my feet. I had no familiarity with the Metal Gear series whatsoever, but tried out GotP because it was so widely acclaimed. I almost instantly understood why: It started off with in-universe interactivity, a stunning opening cutscene, and I couldn't help but be floored by all of the different options I had during gameplay.

But it didn't stop there. With every act, the intricate story became more intriguing. In events building up to the conclusion, I was very deeply moved by Kojima's masterful cinematography, and finally the climactic, theatrical fistfight made sure I would never forget any of it. I was ready to call Metal Gear Solid 4 my greatest video game experience ever.
