I'm so glad to see ManU struggle. It's such a good feel. To hell with Manure, off with their smarmy fans who laugh at other teams because Manure has a noodle sponsorship worth 10 billion and thus can buy anyone.

Sir Alex Ferguson is the only reason your meme club is relevant.

Editing … I remember Ferguson actually saying Mourinho would be his ideal replacement. He said this.

Editing … tbh the Mou from five years ago would have probably been rather capable. He just seems to have lost some respect amongst players.

Editing … No, he wouldn't. I'll admit he was very competent at making a solid defensive tactic, he did it with Inter and Madrid, but in everything else he was just not nearly as good as people made him out to be. His success at Chelsea was very dependant on Abramovic' endless stream of cash to buy players like Drogba, Essien and Shev-fuckin-Chenko.

Editing … You think that money would have been a problem for him at Man fucking United? I'm not saying he'd have crushed the league or nothing, but he would have been better than Lang Baal or Moyes. It's not been two years since he won the PL, so he isn't quite the hack you're making him out to be. There is no coach in the world right now that has done as impressive things as he did with that Porto side. Admittedly they were lucky in the CL draw, but still they won it and that was something special.

Editing … The reason why money isn't working out for him is because he's just not as "good" as he used to be at building a winning team. They spent 120 million on a player that's not even worth a third of that price, expecting him to be some kind of Zidane and SURPRISE it didn't happen. Pogba is a very good player, but was way too overhyped and could never reach the expectation people put on him. He might improve and end up doing amazing things, who knows? I can give him credit for Inter, he was pretty good there, and some credit for Porto, even though that tie against United was total bullshit. I heavily disagree with that, what Guardiola did with Barcelona and the infamous "tikitaka" invented by Cruyff was way more impressive in my opinion.

Editing … But five years ago he was obviously good at building a squad with money. The Pogba transfer is a real head scratcher, I love Pogba but he isn't the player they need. In Mousrinho's defense I reckon it's the United board that pushed him in that decision. They've been pretty trigger happy with buying these "marquee signings". What Pep did was maybe more impressive, at least impressive in a different way. But yeah, as I said I feel like Mou has lost it a bit. Don't know if he's getting it back any time soon.

Editing … Can't say I agree with you on the good at building squads with money, he did that horribly at Madrid. He did win the PL with Chelsea two years ago, not sure how his involvement was crucial to that win since I don't watch the PL. You do have a point though, Pogba really isn't what ManUre needed. In my opinion they're in much bigger need of decent fullbacks and forwards, that Smalling dude is just shit! Ibra is a phenomenal player, but he's getting older and it shows.

I found this whilst browsing and I have to say that I pretty much agree with the author. Denis Irwin especially, he's so underrated it's unreal, Leighton Baines reminds me of him a lot. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/greatest-manchester-united-xi-alex-ferguson-era-103100209.html
