Oh. Jessica Jones and The Punisher are cancelled now, Netflix MCU is dead. The upcoming third season of Jessica Jones will be its last.
Hope Hulu or Disney+ gets to pick up the series' at some point. I want my Luke Cage.

Editing … Shame, though I wasn't even expecting to get a third season of Jessica Jones, so glass half full.

Editing … Do they wrap up conclusively? I still haven't watched the Netflix shows, but I don't wamt to start if they feel unfinished.

Editing … The final shot of Daredevil is a cliffhanger hinting at a returning villain, but otherwise most of the threads have pretty good closure. I didn't bother watching S2 of Luke Cage or any of Iron Fist or the Punisher because apart from S1 and 3 of Daredevil and S1 of Jessica Jones, a lot of MCU Netflix has been a struggle to get through. In my opinion Netflix's oversaturated production schedule leads to a lot of disposable trash.

Editing … Mr. Gamer, I haven't seen Daredevil 3 or The Punisher 2 yet, and Jessica Jones 3 is still coming out, but Luke Cage and Iron Fist are absolutely inconclusive. Luke Cage is top quality though :(

I can hardly express how delighted I am with how this series turned out. With something like a dozen superhero shows on TV, I'm thrilled that one of them has truly hooked me, with a well rounded female lead to boot! I can still recall Birds of Prey as an example of how a show like this can go catastrophically wrong.

While I thought Daredevil was a cut above other attempts at comics-to-television, JJ has managed to outshine it. Most notably I think the characters in JJ are consistently excellent, while those of DD had a few misses among the hits. Their backstories are extremely well fleshed out and interesting. I've seen a number of TV shows lately that make consistent use of flashback and I generally take it as an opportunity to check my email, but JJ remarkably managed to keep me glued to the screen. And it simply can't be ignored what a refreshingly terrific villain Kilgrave is. Sadistic, charismatic, pitiful, yet all around likable, Tennant's act is going to be tough to follow.

Editing … I should mention it's not perfect. The one area Daredevil towers over JJ is the action sequences that feel rather clumsy and amateurish here. Fortunately the conflicts in JJ revolve more around sleuthing and scheming in sequences that can match any fistfight in terms of excitement. The story also starts to meander, repeat and pad itself out in the last couple episodes. The pacing might have been tighter with a slightly shorter season. But overall these issues are a drop in a bucket of quality entertainment.

I can't believe the showrunner for this series is the same woman who wrote the Twilight films.

An incredibly human story, telling the tale of a woman and her abuser, with the best villain in the MCU. Let down only by the occasional cliché. Good stuff.

I have no love of really anything in the MCU, but man do I have a lot of love for David Tennant. I might force myself to watch this at some point because of him.

Editing … I'm about halfway through the series and so far I'd say he's the best villain the MCU has delivered, for whatever that's worth.

Editing … That's kind of tempting actually. Well I'm done with Man in the High Castle so I'll give it a shot in between my marathon of ST: TNG.

Editing … Yea I quite enjoyed it - so much so that I finished it in a day. It sets up for what could be an interesting season 2. Also watched the first episode of this and have to say I enjoyed it more then I thought I would, so I guess I'm watching the rest of it.
