Halo has always been one of my favorite franchises ever since Combat Evolved. I have at some point owned all the games and have liked it's universe. Halo: MCC brings us Halo 1-4 (the Master Chief games). This also means Halo: CE Anniversary is included. Not to stop there we also get a Halo 2 Anniversary. It is one of the main selling points of the game. It adds new scenes as well to tie to Halo 5, gives us Halo: Nightfall, and access to the Halo 5 Beta. All around a fantastic deal. Any drawbacks? Yes. Multiplayer, another selling point, started with a lot of issues. This, sadly, takes what would be a ten for me and drags it down. Overall with Halo's interesting universe and four games bundled with extras this is still a good deal. The great multiplayer with also keep you busy after completing the campaigns. That is if they can get the multiplayer running solid.

Back in the early 2000's Halo solely redefined gaming with the legendary Halo: Combat Evolved. The follow up games continued the trend receiving widespread acclaim from critics and gamers alike, and evolved into the multi-billion dollar franchise it is today. These are games that only the "haters" will hate. You'd probably except the latest installment Halo 5: Guardians to be more anticipated, but then 343 Industries decided to master and collect Halo 1 through 4 into one bundle. Where Halo: The Master Chief Collection gets points in is technology, we're talking original game engines for each specific game (Yea, the Halo: Combat Evolved Pistol is back...) that will be launched on your console when you boot up a certain mission or multi-player map. The first question that should be on everyone's mind is "How?" Collecting the classic games, with over one hundred multi-player maps, this outstanding collection will be a must have for Xbox One owners everywhere.

Four Halo games. 35+ campaign missions. More than 100 multiplayer maps. New series, Halo: Nightfall. Beta for Halo 5: Guardians. All for the sexy price of $60. I mean is that even fair? Is that even LEGAL? God has descended from the heavens only to bestow upon us this collection of one of the best and most genre defining story-based FPS games that had a hella good multiplayer to boot.

I think that this portrays Halo in an awesome way and will really bring all the previous games together.

Halo has been my go-to shooter for a very long time, it's always run smooth and had a beautiful score and overall fun gameplay and story. Naturally, I am massively excited to live the days of Halo 2's multiplayer, as I never got to experience it originally. 343i has gone above and beyond with beautiful redesigns in graphics, fluid gameplay true to the heart and soul of the games, and a wealth of content not seen before in a Halo game, or even a collection of Halo games. If you are buying an Xbox One for one title alone, like I am, let it be this, you won't regret it.
