At some point Rock Band became the casual family game, while Guitar Hero was for the hardcore who wanted the highest difficulty. Now Harmonix is continuing to make the same game they always have, and Activision has completely revamped the IP to be this weird FMV thing with a different guitar controller. Oh well, I'm interested in neither of them. None of the music that ever makes it into these games appeals to me.
