Grand Theft Auto V is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released on 17 September 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. An enhanced version of the game was released on 18 November 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and 14 April 2015 for Microsoft Windows. The game is the first main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series since 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas (based on Southern California), the single-player story follows three criminals and their efforts to commit heists while under pressure from a government agency. The open world design lets players freely roam San Andreas, which includes open countryside and the fictional city of Los Santos (based on Los Angeles).     I bought the PS4 version. Y'know, I really hate installation loading screens. And rebuilding the PS4 database just to fix installation errors. Just saying. Sigh...

    If you're a Twitch Prime user you can grab GTA V for $14.99 + tax on PS4 or Xbox One, and receive $15 back as Amazon credit. The credit expires January 31st, the GTA V offer expires at midnight. You have until the end of the day to decide if you want in.
    Basically it's an under-a-buck GTA V if you decide now that you're gonna spend $15 on Amazon over the next month and a half. If you choose no-rush shipping, you can get another dollar to spend on digital goods, so that tax might be made back--in money that can only be used on Amazon.

    Currently £12 on Steam. I was waiting for the PS4 version to drop below £20 because I only played the 360 version, but I can't turn it down at that price.

      Editing … I'm starting not like the path Take Two or more specifically R* are taking. Giving flashbacks to Valve. I'm sure RDR2 will be a huge deal but R*'s bigger and bigger focus on microtransaction riddled online nonsense is worrying.

    Grand Theft Auto is one of the only modern franchises that I've stuck with, because the series has such an entertaining variety of characters and missions. The series has only kept improving over the years. GTA V took the series to its pinnacle with a incredible graphics, a fantastic storyline and a new online mode.

    Ok, the game is growing on me a little. I haven't started the single player campaign yet, just enough until GTA Online is available. Been doing some missions with friends, and it is ALOT of fun actually!

    Too bad the controls blow ass :(

      Editing … Wait WHAT? You haven't played Single Player at all yet and you're saying GTA V is "growing on you"? SNAKE, YOU'RE CREATING A PIEM TARADOX! Single player is where GTA V really AT! It's story mode is INSANELY good. Also - Trevor's not a psycho. He's a Canadian.
