This is probably the only Dragon Ball Z JRPGs that doesn't utilize a card-battle system. This title plays like a more traditional JRPG, wherein parties of three battle monsters, creatures and, recognizable bosses. The game starts off in Dragon Ball, and goes from the World Martial Arts tournament up to the final confrontation between Goku and, Vegeta. The way the battle system works strongly encourages experimentation since mixing certain special moves will cause a variety of effects and, powerful attacks. The game looks great and is fun to play but it's a bit difficult to come by now and sadly, Monolith isn't working on the sequel.
