I have slightly mixed feelings on this one, on the one hand most of the game is a complete copypaste of the first game and it's so lazy it's almost aggravating, they even re-used the exact same story and maps without even using some of the first game's maps for anything, they're just kind of left there because that's where they were in the first game's world. But on the other hand the stuff that is new was really really really good, the new characters are really likeable and your character forms a stronger relationship with one of them than anything seen in the last game which was nice, and the ending was shockingly amazing, like goddamn, it's probably in my top ten game endings. Judging it on what it does new it's a fantastic game, but taking into account all the stuff it lazily reuses from the first game it's pretty inexcusable. But my final impression of the game was its awesome ending so I can't help loving the game overall.
(Much later edit: Oh I forgot to rag on the fact that it's JP voices only like the last game though, fuck that noise, had to play the game with voices muted. But then it just felt like a classic text-dialogue JRPG so it was all good)
