Darren Aronofsky, one of my favorite directors of all time, planned on adapting his own take on Batman, aka my favorite superhero, to the big screen at one point. I would've loved to see the result of this!!

    "Bullet points:
    *Tortures people
    *Batcave in an abandoned subway
*Left behind his fortune to live on the streets
*Batmobile is just a regular car that's been souped up
    *Alfred is a random mechanic
    *Bruce is depressed as hell
*Never got made because it wasn't kid friendly"

"The film centers on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. It is set for release in 2017."

That is a racist, xenophobe allegory if I ever heard one.

Editing … Do we know the political background of darren Aronofsky? His last film was Noah and now this. I'm afraid he's a...gasp...religious conservative.

Editing … I thought he was stellar in Biutiful and The Sea Inside. No Country For Old Man was just a great role, not a great performance. Shame that such a good role was wasted in such a pointless movie.

Editing … I haven't seen those two movies, but I honestly thought he was laughably bad in Skyfall. He was trying so hard to replicate Heath Ledger's Joker, not sure if it was his idea or the directors, but it sure as hell didn't work for any of them. And NCFOM sucked balls, i'm not gonna blame Bardem for that one but my god was he boring and silly.

Editing … She seems to do the same bit every time, with a little extra flavor. She's not untalented, but her skills in drama are weak compared to a lot of young actresses. At times I she's good at comedies, but at times it feels like her own media personality is pushing through, and frankly I find her media personality to be obnoxious.

Editing … Seeing that Noah is the only thing he has made after 2010 I'm gone have to say no. And not necessary because it's bad but more so because it feels like Peter Jackson directed most of it. If you're looking for a bright spot you can look at it like this way. The Wrestler, in its own way, was a bio-pic of sorts. So maybe if Aronofsky does this project maybe it can be as good as The Wrestler. This of course all hinges on the idea that you enjoyed The Wrestler. If you didn't? ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Editing … I did, kind of... but it was essentially just another Boxer drama (Million Dollar Baby, the Fighter, whathaveyou), so not exactly what I'm looking for in an Aronofsky movie. What I would give if he returned to his roots and made another movie in the vein of Pi or Requiem, that would be so dope
