Epic as fuuuuuuuuuuck! But the Motoi Sakuraba tracks kinda bring it down. I can always tell when it's Sakuraba, because first of all, he's super recognizable, and secondly, his stuff isn't as good as the rest. Dark Souls had an alright soundtrack, but it wasn't as good as Demon's Souls IMO. Then Dark Souls II's soundtrack was downright boring. I've only ever listened to it once, and never felt the need to go back to it. So I think it's a good thing that even though Sakuraba is Namco Bandai's go-to guy, he mostly took it backseat on this one.

I do like me some Sakuraba, but I kinda think he hit his prime with Star Ocean 3, and that was a whopping 13 years ago. He's just never done anything more interesting since. In stark contrast to, for example, Yoko Shimomura. She's in her 40's and still keeps improving. Can't wait for the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack.
