Which version is best? I'm guessing it's either Vita or PC.

Editing … Probably the controls and the graphical style. The game was always designed for the Sony portable systems first. It's just easier to read through the text in a hurry when it's on a small screen.

Editing … I find playing visual novel-styled games on Vita is a great experience, since you can just chill in the dark with it in your hands with headphones in and you're holding the screen up to your face, there's something really immersive about it

Editing … Yeah, the first game was originally on the PSP. Even then, it was pretty easy to control and read. The Vita version has HD graphics though, so it's probably the best version.

The worst part about school mode in this game: I heard a rumor that I could get the underwear of my characters. However, I supposedly have to max out the heart levels of each of the characters in 50 days. And I'm still trying to figure out if this is even true. It annoys the hell out of me!

I won't lie. I wanted Kyoko Kirigiri's panties. I'm a total sucker for detective girls.

Trying out the school mode. Ehh...I'm glad that I finished almost all the character free time sections in this mode, but it's a repetitive minigame that doesn't really add anything worthwhile. Oh well.

Chapter 5 - 100 Mile Dash; Pain of a Junk Food Junkie
I still have no idea who came up with this chapter name, but I always had a tough time with this one.
The bad ending is awesome. Lol.

I finally got to chapter five. And now my main character is talking about the ultimate hope. Well, let the Hope train begin, baby!

And I'm not talking about Final Fantasy Hope. F***in' Hope.

Chapter three was still one of my favorites. So confusing, but it felt so good to solve that mystery at the end.

The game that will murder your parents and laugh at their funeral before setting the venue on fire. The game's fucked. But it's all the more amazing for it. It presents you with all these fun and quirky characters, lets you become attached to them and pick your favourites, even gives you a Persona-esque system where you can spend time with your favourite characters to improve your relationship with them, then murders them in the cruellest way possible one by one like they're nothing and there's nothing you can do about it but solve the murder mystery, which will lead to another character you love being butchered when they're fingered as the culprit. It literally turns trauma into a game and it's goddamn genius. The music is awesome and fits ever situation perfectly, the class trials are hype as tits, and the story quickly becomes really really engaging and it's paced PERFECTLY, it knows exactly what to do and when to do it to keep you sucked in. On top of that this game/arc of the series has my all-time favourite villain, they're so good. The general vibe is just brilliant, it presents one of the most twisted stories I've ever experienced in a game in such an upbeat and quirky way and it really really fucks with your head.

I forgot how long this game is. I was just trying to beat chapter two and it took at least five hours or so. Geez, how many hours did I really spend on my first playthrough?

This game went on sale last weekend. I owned the PSP version, but the newer versions look so much better. Those HD graphics are sure pretty, man...
