I picked it up this morning. I decided to have a quick go whilst I waited for Claire to get ready and 2 hours later I'd only just built a tiny little village but I'd made it perfect. I can seriously see me sinking entire weekends into this if I'm not careful.

It's not even fun, it's stressful. But IT'S ADDICTIVE AS COCAINE!

I'm watching a lets play and its really pissing me off that the player just destroys peoples houses and buildings to relocate stuff. I know they're just virtual people but it bothers me that he's violating his citizens rights all the time. Im gonna have to plan my city well because im not doing that if i get this game.

Editing … Because it feels wrong to bulldoze people houses on a whim. Even tho its just a game it still feels wrong. It would be better if you had to pay whatever the house&property is worth everytime you did it.

Editing … There's no distinction between paid piracy and unpaid piracy. It's just interpreted as one paying customer and one lost sale, even if it's the same person.

Editing … Every steam game is a faulty product in my eyes. I pay money, but they deliver a game that doesn't work on my Pc. Or only does some of the time. Not because my pc isn't powerful enough to run the games, no, it's because their stupid bullshit interferes with my games. There's no benefit for me as a consumer using steam, I'd just get all of my games from gog or humble bundle if they were available there. Fuck steam, fuck valve, fuck gabe Newell, fuck em.

Editing … Not every pirated copy is a lost sale but every pirated copy feuls their sanctimonious campaign to shove more DRM into all their products, treat consumers as criminals, shut down download sites, and generally control everything.

Omg, tunnels are such a game-changer. My new city feels like a colony in #SimAnts thanks to them, my Sims barely see the sunlight anymore since tunnels got patched in. Just like me haha
