The domestic cat (Latin: Felis catus) or the feral cat (Latin: Felis silvestris catus) is a small, typically furry, carnivorous mammal. They are often called house cats when kept as indoor pets or simply cats when there is no need to distinguish them from other felids and felines. Cats are often valued by humans for companionship and for their ability to hunt vermin. There are more than 70 cat breeds; different associations proclaim different numbers according to their standards.

Saved!KlemoibEditing … :-D I hope he gets to live to be old and fat. None of our cats ever lived that long. They all got some strange and rare cat disease because we got them from the rescue shelter and the old gentleman cat that decided to live with us for a few years had to go back to the original owner even after he had bonded very strongly with our cat. They were like 2 peas in a pod but the original owner was hysterical and nasty and thought it was destiny that she would be reunited with her cat or something like that because she saw it in a dream, so she took him away from his friend. Our cat was very sad that he left. Still pisses me off when I think about it. They were BFF's. We tried to find the owner when he first appeared but they were nowhere to be found until years later. -
Saved!KlemoibEditing … I really like old cats. I once found a blind black battle cat on the streets (who's owners I did find very quickly). He had been drifting for 2 weeks according to his owners. He was so funny. He headbutted everything in the room because he was blind and didn't know the surroundings. Usually cat's don't last that long on the streets while being lost but this blind cat somehow survived just fine. That's why I call him battle cat. Battle cat lives on in my heart even though I only knew him for a day. Tell us a story about George.

He's nothing like a normal cat, he's a special breed and people pay lots of money for them, I think it might be bombay cat but that just come to mind so it might not be right. He's super intelligent but in a human way, it's like he's not a cat, he reacts like a human and understands what we tell him. Like for example if I say go in the kitchen he will literally walk out the room into the kitchen. He's dog like in that intelligence way. Once upon a time he was the bravest badass cat on the planet he would do anything but one morning we got up and he was shaking under a table. We coaxed him out and his tail was clearly broken, we don't know what happened but I think he got kicked. Since then he runs from everybody anc everything except us. He's a lovely cat though, not handsome in any way shape or form but he's just a nice cat. He wouldn't hurt a fly and he loves a cuddle. -
Saved!NodleyEditing … We have Barry too and he's just a normal cat. He's lovely too but he's just an average normal everyday cat. Isabella likes Barry more because George is nervous and runs after his accident because she is quite loud.

Saved!KlemoibEditing … Bombay cats look pretty. They look like miniature panthers. George does sound like a special cat. I never had a cat that understood words like that. Two of my favorite cats were also special in a way and unlike other normal cats. It's strange how you can tell. They behaved quite human like in some ways and they were also very socially intelligent and understood emotion very well. I also taught one of them to open up doors. He learnt it in a few minutes. Like he understood my demonstration. I probably could have trained him to do much more. Did you teach George do tricks?

Saved!NodleyEditing … I call him radar. If I open a cupboard in the kitchen he will immediately appear through the cat flap to see if he's getting food. Even if he's nowhere in sight, once that cupboard opens his food radar picks it up.

Saved!I escaped a fiery death somehow this morning.
As I opened the kitchen door and turned the light on this morning I smelled gas, but my finger had already hit the light switch. It's a miracle I'm alive! One of the back hobs on the cooker was on full gas and the towel we leave hung over the oven door handle was on the floor so I know he'd been on the cooker.
The fucking cat actually tried to kill me! His days are numbered, mark my words. He'll turn up in a curry next time I'm home early to cook tea and Claire is at work. -

Saved!My cat got fat. We've put him on a diet. He's not happy :p Bloody love this creature though! He's such a placid, friendly giant of a cat. He sheds EVERYWHERE though.

Saved!Silent GamerEditing … Our Parker is an eating machine. If you let him, he'd eat all day. The cat I grew up (Sylvester) would never overeat, so I'm still a bit unused to how much food to give him. We checked a few sources online though and adjusted his diet and he seems to be slimming down. He's massive in general though. He was 6.5kg when we got him and he's tall enough to reach the kitchen counter when he stands on his back legs.

Saved!How can anyone prefer dogs to cats?
My friends cat is half famous. She lives about 80 miles away in Whitby where Dracula lives, it's a tiny little seaside town but we all know Poppy cat. She goes into shops in the town centre and sleeps in the windows. It's like she owns the entire fucking town. She's a legend. And no, she doesn't give a fuck if you prefer dogs. She gives zero fucks at all times.-
Saved!Husky WingEditing … My friend's cat Matilda (I call her Miss Meowtilda) is on my lap for most of the time I'm there. Dogs don't purr either, so that puts them at a pretty heavy disadvantage.

Saved!Husky WingEditing … Puss knew my sleep schedule (and got me to enforce a sleep schedule) by hopping onto my bed at 10pm sharp every night, and meowing if I wasn't ready to join her. She developed an issue with her paw that ended up making it hard for her to jump onto and off the bed, but I made a set of stairs so she could get up and down without help.
