Definitely the better version of the game. I really like the additions to the move list in BKIII as it increases the tempo and adds some more flavor to the simplistic gameplay. However the level design isn't quite as good as in BKII/SoRII and some parts seem to drag on a bit. And of course the music, while interesting in its own right isn't nearly as memorable or catchy as in the prequels save for a couple of stand out tracks.

I really hope nobody doubts that BK3 and the incredibly inferior, downright terrible SoR3 are different games. This basically continues the perfection that was SoR2 but it takes a few steps back. It tries to add in some non beat' em up sections that don't quite work. That being said, the beat 'em up sections have been refined and nearly perfected. The soundtrack also isn't quite as good but it I think it still gets too much crap. It's still really good, it's just different. The graphics are improved and the characters are all fun to use (Roo is a decent novelty at least). It's one of the greatest beat 'em ups, period. It's just a shame it's overshadowed by it's evil twin.
