Any game which lets you battle a giant cauliflower in the very first level is a winner in my book.

It's difficult to express why I would consider this game 'perfect'. Clanker's Cavern is, by all means, a bad level. However, of every 3D platformer, this game just understands size, scope, and theming perfectly. Every level feels exciting and new while not being overwhelmingly large. There's just a loving flow to the game where you can explore a world, do everything in it (and are, in fact, encouraged to with the admittedly flawed note score system), and enjoy and soak up every inch of the game world. Banjo is the standard that control should be held to for a 3D platforming character - every motion can flow into the next one so easily and it just feels GOOD being Banjo. Banjo-Kazooie is a joy of a game to play wherein everything works together to immerse the player without overwhelming them or having way too much dead space for its own good.

One of my most platformers. Banjo Kazooie is a quirky game that has you run around large worlds collecting various items, such as Jigsaw Pieces, honeycombs, mumbo tokens, ect. And the game isn't afraid to poke fun at itself or break the fourth wall on numerous occasions.

It has a large cast of quirky characters that speak in various mumbles, grunts, squeaks, ect. a catchy and upbeat soundtrack, various moves to learn and perform, and also transformations for each level. It's among the platforming greats in my opinion and should not be missed out.

It takes quite a lot for a game to copy another game and still feel original. Somehow, Banjo-Kazooie figuratively got away with murder by shamelessly lifting Super Mario 64's overall design, yet still standing as one of the most original games on the Nintendo 64. This is as close as video games have ever come to a Disney movie from the Golden Age of Animation. Nearly EVERYTHING has two eyes and a cutesy voice, which compliments the kid-friendly theming and easy-to-understand objective. Even so, I only wonder how frustrated with this game I would have been, had I played it as a child. This is one of the most anger-inducing games I have ever played, and even with an awesome soundtrack, it can still piss me off.

People may heavily criticize the franchise, but Banjo-Kazooie is still a fantastic adventure. It didn't just charm people with sarcastic jokes from Gruntilda. It started an entire generation of games with humongous worlds and 3D exploration. Banjo-Kazooie has always been one of my personal favorites.

I loved this game. The music is great, there are some lovable characters, the story is meh, but it's still great. I love the puzzles, and overall just a great game. I like its sequel more for some reason, but this is just a phenomenal platformer. It also looks great, even today.

Banjo-Kazooie is one of the best 3D platformers I have ever played. It improves on some of Super Mario 64's aspects with a greater emphasis on exploration, lovable characters, an amazing soundtrack, and hilarious writing. Though it did not have as great of an impact on the video game industry as Super Mario 64 when it was released, Banjo-Kazooie is still one of the best games that I've played.

Banjo-Kazooie may be the best Rare game. It's nice designed, the characters are funny as hell (I don't expect anything else from Rare tbh) and the game felt really fresh compared to Nintendo Jump'n'Runs. It may lack some things here and there but it's still one of the best Jump'n'Runs ever created and worth to play. So go and get this game!
