So apparently Atlus has a new logo now... Yeah, I don't get these logo changes sometimes. They had a good thing going, and they changed it to something super generic. (BTW, it's not an April Fools joke -- today is simply when the new fiscal year starts and Atlus officially becomes part of Sega)

Editing … (facepalm) "I don't get these logo changes sometimes. They had a good thing going, and they changed it to something super generic." I totally agree and this logo sucks compare to the old logo.

Editing … I studied design for 3 years, changing a simple logo is more important than many people might think. It's not only the "fresher" look, but also symbolic of change, comfort and trust (depending on the situation). The looks are completely subjective, but from a design standpoint it's fine although I do prefer the old one...

Editing … I'd rather give priority to the current one. I guess we'll all get used to it. Instead of changing logos, they need to hurry up and give me #Persona 5...

Editing … To some extent they should have known this would happen. They have nobody to blame but themselves. (well... they also have Atlus to blame)

Editing … I think this is the same thing as the Nintendo situation at EVO last year and pulling the plug a the last minute. I think the reason this happends is the legal department gets wind of it and shuts it down. They don't talk to any one else in the company its just there job to protect there IP so if the see something they shut it down no questions asked. It doesn't let Atlus or Nintendo off the hook completely though. And these guys tired to get permission first which baffles me as to why Atlus didn't respond earlier. Even the best company's aren't immune to doing stuff like this.
