I would've had more fun cutting myself than playing this godawful piece of shit.

The Aliens are truly terrifying, and move exactly as they did in the movies-- you know, running without moving their legs, jumping backwards towards the player, etc. The amazing wealth of 11 or so weapons leaves you with limitless options as to how you wish to one-shot the hundreds of xenomorphs you kill every five minutes, turning what used to haunt moviegoer's nightmares into a mere bug to be squashed by the player.

At least the levels are well made. They present so little opportunity for exploration, forcing you to just sprint through the game and get it over with (though you will often be hindered by accidentally falling through the floor or getting stuck in a wall).

It's a bit shitty

Aliens: Colonial Marines is a huge letdown. The story is weak and most of the characters are uninteresting. The ending is bad. You fight humans through most of the campain and the A.I. are bad. The graphics can be detailed but some textures are ugly. The game controls well. While the campain is short and the story does not deliver the multiplayer saves it. Working together and using the motion tracker are key to winning. The aliens also have cool moves and fatalities. There is also a lot of custimization options where you can change the look of the alien or marine and upgrade the weapons. There are only four modes though with DLC coming for the single and multiplayer. The game isn't terrible it's just a letdown.
