...I forgot what the hell came out this year in the first place. I remembered Brokeback Mountain, Batman Begins and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. From that point on, I remember absolutely nothing. Lol.

Good Night and Good Luck was cool. The 40-Year-Old Virgin was f***in' hilarious. But those aren't the first films when I think of 2005. I remember that there was a ton of over-hyped s*** that I probably didn't need to watch. Including Syriana. The movie about "corruption."

More people need to see/acknowledge Unleashed and Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Brokeback Mountain honestly should've beaten Crash for Best Picture

Editing … Every other nominee was better than Crash. Capote was probably my favorite.

Editing … I liked Crash. My Critical Thinking class in college actually studied some of the conflicts floating around that movie, because it covered a lot of the degrees of racism in everyday life. It really wasn't the greatest, though. I was pretty disappointed by the movies this year. I did remember the "corruption" speech, though.

Hmm, Kingdom of Heaven director's cut is waaaaay better than the piece of junk they released in theaters. Not sure what to do about that.

Editing … I'd guessed it didn't have a lot of fans because it wasn't in the same league as Gladiator and that's what everyone was hoping for. I think I've only seen the directors cut though, was the theatrical cut that bad?

Seeing a Star Wars prequel this high on the list... truly saddening.

Editing … Goblet of Fire is my favourite Harry Potter film, mostly for personal reasons though (the company I worked at at the time did the sound dubbing on the HP films). Same reason I like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. 2005 was when I worked at Ascent Media (now called Deluxe 142, which is a bloody stupid name for a company if you ask me, but that's another story) as a tape op and I saw a lot of the rushes for these films.

Editing … Oh, as for Revenge of the Sith... it's not as bad as the other two prequels. Not sure it's as good as the list suggests, though. And Advent Children I solely like because I'm an unashamed FF7 fanboy. :D

Editing … It had that awesome lightsaber duel at the end to be fair, I probably like that scene more than anything in the originals. I'm not much of a Star Wars fan though. It was definitely a weak Harry Potter, real shame because Goblet of Fire's probably my favourite of the books.

Editing … I gotta agree, Episode III is stockholm syndrome for Star Wars fans "hey thanks for not being as bad as the last two, just because you had a bloated (but requested considering the participants) 10-minute fight sequence at the end this time after 2 hours of boring dialog, instead of JUST 2 hours of boring dialog...HOORAY STAR WARS IS FIXED." c.c
