Let me start off by saying that I'm not a fan of the genre and I normally wouldn't buy this game, had it not been for my friends. My biggest gripe is that Diablo III revolves heavily around randomisation. Too much for my taste. Sure, you might argue that aspect gives the game some legs, but at what cost? While playing DIII I had the feeling as if the game was produced in a factory, void of any passion, with the sole intent of inducing addiction.
Pros: Gameplay is extremely tight, solid first half of the game
Cons: The feeling of emptiness quickly kicks in, second half of the game is downright uninspired, the loot system is just horrible, inventory space is way too small, disappointing story, AH undermines the general concept of the game
