Sadly, Fable II turned out to be a massive disappointment. For every step forward, it took two steps back. While I do commend the team for trying something new, they didn't need to reinvent such a ''young'' IP. As is the case with all the titles Molyneux has had his hands in, this game had a lot of fantastic ideas going for it. The problem is that the ideas were never fully realized (or in some cases - thought through).
Pros: Loads of superb ideas, a lot more content than its predecessor, some charm still remains
Cons: Most of the ideas didn't translate all that well into practice, the whole game is overly simplified (which can lead to boredom), the atmosphere is almost nonexistent, disappointing music and engine, boring story
