Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! is a solid remake of a cult classic and while it does well enough to bring the magnificent Oddworld to the new fans and refresh the memory of the old ones, its presentation and a few other notable changes are a step back compared to the original.
Pros: Remains a unique experience to this day, expertly realized world, good mix of solid platforming and good puzzles, iconic sound design, has quicksave, discovering a secret area is always a delight, special attention has been given to the Vita's version
Cons: Bright and colorful visuals are a step back from the gloomy and realistic original, various bugs found in the remake, frequent load times and sections with ''puzzle rooms'' break up the pace (especially during the middle act), Vita's version suffers from sound bugs and frequent framerate drops
